I’d like to begin with saying a huge thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their JataDread journey. I am sorry that I have to do this but my hourly rate will be increasing to £20 as off 1st January 2018. I don’t like having to do this but my study fees have also increased and I use all the money I earn from locking hair to pay for my Yoga studies. I hope you all understand.

04/12/16 Today’s tidy-up #jatadreads #dreads
Started these locks about 18 months ago. We took a risk, hair very fine and thin, I won’t get involved with extentions, am confident they are unnecessary. 18 months of patience with the maturing journey, locks are naturally thickening and beginning to feel like a human mane of strength.
This is what they looked like, fresh locks April 2015.

Just washed them, they feel lovely. Tomorrow, I’ll do some maintenance, parting, matt roots and hand rolling. I’ll do them all again just before the festive break, when I’ll spend time tidying them up.

This was a tidy-up of existing locks and locking new. Required only partial so made sure new were in a row and sectioned so that more could be added in the future.
