Absolutely loved locking these today, been ages since I’ve done a fresh head of locks. lovely person too, had the best weekend.
Just washed them, they feel lovely. Tomorrow, I’ll do some maintenance, parting, matt roots and hand rolling. I’ll do them all again just before the festive break, when I’ll spend time tidying them up.
Locked these back in July this year, this is the first tidy-up. They’re looking fab and maturing extremely well.
Makes me happy when a locked head would like to learn how to maintain their own locks. Happy to share the skill, after all, that’s what’s encouraged in yoga philosophy, known as svatantra.
This was a tidy-up of existing locks and locking new. Required only partial so made sure new were in a row and sectioned so that more could be added in the future.
Ickle baby locks and the beautiful silver grey hair makes these locks unique.
Had to lock some together as the section bases were to thin. Good day talking about life, love and universe. We had much in common.
Fabulous day spent tidying these locks. A spirit that cares about their world, we talked and talked and laughed. Feeling blessed

Look, just because you have decided to lock your hair, doesn’t mean you are free of the responsibilities of personal hair hygiene and maintenance. If you don’t look after your locks, you’ll end up being uncomfortable from them and with them and there is a good chance, you’ll end up loosing them.
Also, when the day comes to go getting them tidied up, it will be painful, will take a lot longer than necessary and time is money, so will cost you more. Continue reading
